EASA Annual General Meeting And Grant Presentation Ceremony

On 22nd March 2026, the External Affairs Spouses’ Association (EASA) and the EASA Charity Trust (EASACT) came together for our Annual General Meeting and Grant Presentation Ceremony and what a truly memorable day it was.

We were deeply honoured to have Mrs. Kyoko Jaishankar as our Chief Guest. Her gracious presence and thoughtful words set a warm and inspiring tone for the afternoon.

The presence of members from the Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHoM) added a special warmth to the gathering. With close to 100 members and guests in attendance, the hall was filled with a wonderful sense of community, shared purpose, and camaraderie.

The EASA and EASACT teams presented their annual reports, offering a meaningful opportunity to reflect on all that has been accomplished together over the past year. The afternoon was further enriched by moving presentations from two NGOs supported by EASACT, Earthsaviours Foundation and Upasana Special School, whose impactful work touched every heart and reminded us why our collective efforts matter so deeply.

In her address, EASA President Mrs. Dolly Misri beautifully captured the spirit of the occasion, reminding us that this is not merely a ceremony, but a celebration of compassion, commitment, and collective action. She paid a heartfelt tribute to our NGO partners, saying, “You are the bridge between good intentions and real impact.” Vice President Ms. Aradhana Sharma brought the proceedings to a graceful close with a Vote of Thanks.

We are proud to share that a total of ₹53 lakh was distributed among 14 NGOs, each doing extraordinary work in challenging circumstances. Since its inception, EASACT has disbursed over ₹7 crore to charitable initiatives across India. This is an achievement that fills us with immense pride and gratitude.

The afternoon concluded on a high note with a stunning cultural performance by Ms. Maitreyee Pahari and her troupe. Celebrating the divine feminine, the performance wove together Kathak, Odissi, Chhau, and Dhol Cholom in a mesmerizing confluence that left the audience spellbound.

The day also marked warm farewells to EASACT Secretary Mrs. Smita Agarwal and Treasurer Mrs. Sri Anand, along with a heartfelt welcome to Mrs. Shweta Sharma and Mrs. Deepali Telang as they step into their new roles.

It was truly a day that celebrated EASA, EASACT, and the spirit that makes our community so warm, purposeful, and inspiring.

Thank you for being with us every step of the way. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
