Dusshera Celebration At 2025

EASA celebrated Dussehra on the MEA Chankayapuri Campus (CPC) with Foreign Service families on 2nd October 2025 in an atmosphere of joy, togetherness, and festivity.

The evening began with Mrs. Dolly Misri, President , Easa Mea, planting a tree under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, which promotes environmental consciousness and sustainable living. In the same spirit, over twenty saplings were planted across the CPC campus and nearby park, a reminder of our collective commitment towards a sustainable and greener future.

Even inclement weather could not dampen the enthusiasm of our festivities, and as the Ravan, made by children from IFS families, went up in flames, the air was electric with the emotions of joy and excitement. The spirit of the festival shone through, turning the evening into an indelible memory for our children and all those who attended.

On the occasion, Mrs. Dolly Misri also felicitated more than twenty-five members of the MEA Chanakyapuri campus maintenance staff, the highest number so far, with tokens of appreciation for their support to EASA and our community.

EASA extends heartfelt thanks to the Indian Council For Cultural Relations, Ms. K. Nandini Singla, and Ms. Manisha Swami for facilitating the puppet show, and to all EASA families and children who came together to celebrate this auspicious festival and make the evening truly memorable!

Happy Dusshera!
