On 5th September 2026, Members of EASA and SHOM visited the Partition Museum at the historic Dara Shukoh Library.

Even heavy rain could not stop our members from attending this special visit. The museum team gave everyone a warm welcome on arrival. The visit started with a short documentary showing how the museum was created. The Director of the museum, Mrs. Deepali Khanna, explained how The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust (TAACHT) joined hands with the Ministry of Culture’s "Adopt a Heritage" scheme, helpful individuals, and Partition survivors to bring this historic preservation project to life.

The exhibition offered a deeply moving experience, capturing both the immense grief of a painful era in history and the extraordinary resilience of human courage.

We are thankful to Mr. Nikhil and Ms. Neeharika for providing informative and thoughtful tour to our members.

As a gesture and support for the appreciation of the museum's meaningful work, the president of EASA Mrs. Dolly Misri presented a small donation to the partition museum.
