Dusshera Celebration

EASA celebrated a very special Dusshera on 12th October 2024 with two exciting events. For the first time, EASACT secured stalls for three of its partner NGOs at the New Motibagh Diwali Mela, adding a new dimension to its partnerships and creating a meaningful platform for these organizations.
On the Chanakyapuri campus, EASA's Dusshera celebration uniquely blended creativity and tradition. Children brought a vibrant 24-faced Ravan to life, with each face reflecting their unique imagination and making it a striking symbol of this timeless festival. Dressed as their favourite Ramayan characters, from Hanuman to Surpanakha, they infused the event with youthful energy.
Mrs. Dolly Misri, President of EASA, graced the occasion and, in her eloquent address, shared the values of Dusshera and its significance in Indian culture. In a heartwarming gesture, she also felicitated the campus maintenance staff with a token of appreciation.
As the Ravan went up in flames, symbolising the eternal triumph of good over evil, it also marked new beginnings and possibilities. The evening was filled with joy, laughter, and a deep sense of community, leaving everyone inspired and uplifted.
