Conduct of Cancer Screening Camp
'EASACT' in collaboration with 'Indian Cancer Society' hosted a Cancer Screening Camp for Miraz Workers and Helpers on February 13, 2025, at the MEA Chanakyapuri Complex.
EASA also facilitated cancer screening camp for Sanskriti School employees/helpers in collaboration with Indian Cancer Society on 8th March.
This initiative was designed to provide early detection and preventive healthcare services to underprivileged individuals, ensuring their well-being and raising awareness about cancer prevention.
The camp featured a comprehensive team of healthcare professionals, including an oncologist, gynaecologist, ENT specialist, and trained medical staff. Screenings focused on common cancers including oral, breast, and cervical cancer, with specialized diagnostic procedures such as chest X-rays, mammography, Pap smears, physical examinations, and blood tests.
The event saw strong participation, with many workers and helpers taking advantage of the screening services. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the crucial role of early detection in improving cancer treatment outcomes.
The organizing committee extended their sincere appreciation to all medical professionals, volunteers, and participants who contributed to the camp's success.
