Venue: Shastri Park

EASACT members visited the Shastri Park site of the mobile school program, where the NGO has set up a temporary classroom to support local children. The program focuses on providing foundational literacy and numeracy to children from nearby communities.

Despite challenges towards providing a conducive learning environment, the program has made a significant impact. The children in attendance in the tin roof shed showed immense enthusiasm for learning, curiosity and good general awareness. This indeed, is a clear sign of a successful outreach by the organisation.
